Deep Dive – experience a world underwater

Explore the secrets and beautiful treasures of the sea in our themed exhibition, "Deep Dive." Dive into this exciting world and learn more about what makes the ocean so vital for us humans, what we use it for, and what threatens it. Bring your family and join us on an exciting journey through the depths of the sea.

At INSPIRIA, you can color beautiful fish and watch them swim around in a large digital aquarium, walk through a vortex tunnel, visit the center's creative workshops – and, of course, there will be opportunities to build with LEGO.

Shows at the centre

The planetarium journey "Deep dive in the universe" in space
We take you on a spectacular planetarium journey in space! An activity host tells about planets, stars, the solar system, the starry sky, galaxies and much, much more, while you sit down in the cinema chair and look up. The planetarium trip is best suited for those over the age of 5. Duration approx. 15–20 min.

Science show
Join us on a journey into the depths where experiments and learning go hand in hand, and get to know the mysterious monsters that live there. We will travel from the surface of the sea to the dark and unknown ocean depths. The show is best suited for those over the age of 3.

Creative workshops

Making beadwork bracelets
Here, the family can enjoy quality time together and create beautiful jewelry using beads made from natural materials – and it is included in the tickets.

Wind mill workshop
Create your own propeller for the wind turbine using objects available at the station and see how much energy it produces on the screen. Let your creativity run wild!

Flaskepost

Message in a Bottle
Create a "message in a bottle" with your suggestion on how we in Norway can contribute to saving marine life, and hang it on our message in a bottle wall.

Take your own photos in our photo studio
Say cheese! In our selfie studio, you can take your own "underwater" and ocean-themed photos.

Build LEGO
Children and young people are invited to build LEGO with an underwater theme! We have both LEGO DOTS and regular LEGO – only your imagination sets the limits!

GyroXtreme

Only available between 15.00–16.00 local time.
Want to become an astronaut? GyroXtreme is an astronaut simulator that will simulate your journey up into the stratosphere (or perhaps rather back down from the thermosphere?). GyroXtreme reflects the astronaut training on the first Apollo programs and where guests get to experience the violent g-forces that can occur in a rocket launch, while at the same time they are given a coordination task in the form of child's play which immediately becomes more difficult when the world is turned in all directions and at high speed. Height requirement 140 cm.
